Is there a way to mute/ignore someone whose profile is hidden?

I noticed there is a mute/ignore function now, but if someone’s profile is private, I can’t get to the page to enable that feature.

Yes there is.

1. On your profile select “Preferences”.

2. On the new screen it brings up, there is a navigation tree on the Left. Select “Users” from beneath the “Notifications” heading.
   

   

3. Push the “Add” button found underneath the “Ignore” section. This will bring up a search box that allows you to search and select by Username.

4. Add the name of the user you wish to ignore and select a duration. Maximum duration is 1 year.
   
   

And you should be set. Let me know if that doesn’t work for you.
